This morning we were lucky enough to be invited in to watch a show as Miss Burke needed some role models in the hall for the younger children.

I definitely came out singing afterwards.

This morning we had to really stretch our noticing learning muscles to make some 3D shapes. We had to spot the 2D shapes of the faces in order to help us to build the shapes up.

What names of shapes can you remember?

Revising shapes and learning algorithms

May 2nd, 2017 Posted 8:18 pm

This morning we took learning shapes to the next level.

We had to follow algorithms (give each other instructions)to design a picture using shapes.
To do this we had to combine lots of skills- we had to revise the names of the shapes and make links to positional language and measuring.

We also had to collaborate with our partners.

What great fun in the forest this morning.
We went searching for mini beasts (most of which were hiding) but our super explorers managed to find a few.
